Integration/Test Engineer (Environmental Testing)

Location: Clifton, New Jersey, United States; onsite work in the environmental test facility. First-shift work is expected, with possible assignments to other shifts. The facility operates 24/7, and the schedule is 9/80 with every other Friday off. Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance is required; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Salary: $76,500–$141,500 annually in New Jersey.

What you will do

• Perform environmental stress screening of electronic warfare products, including temperature, vibration, thermal shock, and thermal cycle testing.
• Set up, operate, and monitor environmental test equipment.
• Follow test procedures and traveler sequences accurately.
• Report test information and communicate status, next actions, and issues to department members.
• Participate in shop meetings, documentation, and issue-resolution tracking.
• Work independently after completing onboarding and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or a graduate degree with 0–2 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 6 years of related experience.
• Hands-on skills and a good understanding of electronic circuits.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Previous environmental testing or instrumentation experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience.
• Existing U.S. DoD Secret security clearance or equivalent.
