Senior Phishing Tradecraft Researcher (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base compensation: $170,000–$185,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Operate and expand the Security Awareness Training phishing program.
• Design and build realistic phishing simulation emails, landing pages, learner coaching, and libraries of social engineering indicators.
• Develop proofs of concept and automation using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Identify emerging phishing and social engineering tradecraft from attack patterns, email metadata, and web research.
• Triage reported phishing emails and security incidents, identify trends, and contribute to threat reports, advisories, webinars, and outreach campaigns.
• Expand training content into new regions, languages, tailored scenarios, and learning experiences while coordinating with product research leadership.

Requirements

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience using Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, supported by demonstrable projects.
• Experience manually creating phishing simulations, analyzing results, and reporting findings.
• Experience triaging phishing emails and security incidents, analyzing attacks, and identifying emerging tradecraft.
• Background in social engineering, eLearning design and development, training content, or security awareness.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, and executive reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Spanish language skills.
• Experience with marketing content for social media, YouTube, blogs, and reports.
• Experience with product management, incident response, psychology, education, or managed service provider tools.
