Insurance Agent (Property & Casualty)

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri; the position also covers Columbia, Missouri. Regular business hours with approximately one weeknight per month and one Saturday per quarter.

First-year earnings typically range from $65,000–$75,000, including base pay and commission; top performers have earned nearly $100,000 in their first year.

What you will do

• Contact customers, provide insurance quotes, answer questions, and recommend suitable coverage.
• Issue insurance policies and assess customers’ needs for home, auto, and other insurance products.
• Coordinate with Operations teams and insurance carriers to maintain accurate policies and smooth handoffs to the loan team.
• Build relationships with Loan Officers, carriers, and other partners while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Communicate with borrowers by phone, email, and other tools; business calls may be recorded and reviewed with AI-assisted technology for coaching, quality assurance, compliance, training, and performance evaluation.
• Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with customers by phone.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, manage shifting priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up reliably.
• Existing Property & Casualty licensing or readiness to obtain the license after joining.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using internet-based company tools.
• Availability for regular business hours plus approximately one weeknight per month and one Saturday per quarter.
