Director of Medical Insights & Analytics (Biopharmaceutical)

Location: Fully remote; can be performed from anywhere. Occasional domestic and international travel of approximately 5% is expected.

Salary: $185,000–$252,500 annually

What you will do

• Create the strategic vision and objectives for Medical Affairs analytical models.
• Analyze data from Medical Affairs sources, identify trends and sentiment, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop data, tools, and models for activity prioritization, planning, stakeholder segmentation, launch preparation, and strategic decision-making.
• Track Medical Affairs metrics and impact against targets, define innovative impact use cases, and identify when course correction is needed.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial Effectiveness, and IT to develop compliant data capabilities, infrastructure, and analytical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and develop real-time, automated dashboards integrating multiple data sources.

Requirements

• Doctorate plus 5 years, Master’s plus 8 years, or Bachelor’s plus 12 years of data and analytics experience.
• At least 7 years of analytics experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Qlik, SQL, Python, Excel, and programming with SQL.
• Ability to work with diverse data sets, build models, translate business needs into solutions, and lead complex projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, project management, influencing, and change leadership skills.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere and travel domestically and internationally approximately 5% of the time.
