TL;DR
Quality Assurance Specialist (Aviation): Implementing and maintaining quality assurance and compliance monitoring systems for aviation training centers with an accent on regulatory audits, corrective actions, and quality management reporting. Focus on coordinating audits across the Americas, managing non-conformances, training local auditors, and verifying compliance with aviation, contractual, and customer requirements.

Location: Eagan, United States; regular participation in audits at training centers across the Americas, including hirify.global Dallas training centers.

What you will do

  • Implement and monitor QA and compliance systems across training centers in South, Central, and North America.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and document quality and compliance audits against civil aviation regulations, contractual requirements, and customer requirements.
  • Track audit records, non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions, and escalation of overdue or unresolved issues.
  • Coordinate local QA auditor teams and provide functional supervision without direct reports.
  • Prepare QA reports and conduct quarterly Quality Management Reviews with stakeholders and regulatory representatives.
  • Deliver or coordinate QMS and compliance monitoring training and support process improvements.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in quality assurance or compliance auditing in the aviation industry.
  • Basic knowledge of aviation regulatory principles.
  • Functional proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks across locations.
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills, including interaction with customers and regulators.
  • Proficiency with standard IT tools and systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience in pilot training, aircraft operations, or simulator training centers.
  • Working knowledge of Q-Pulse, Enlighten, or TCOM quality management systems.
  • Experience supporting and promoting a quality and compliance culture.
