What you will do

  • Create, initiate, monitor, and enforce airworthiness, safety, and operational processes.
  • Use continuous analysis and surveillance to ensure compliance with FAA, IATA, and federal aviation requirements.
  • Liaise with the FAA and Department of Defense on air operations safety and legal fitness.
  • Perform audits of field stations and hubs covering line maintenance, ramp operations, aviation security, de-icing, and fuel operations.
  • Interpret airworthiness directives, engineering documents, OEM specifications, and regulatory materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in aeronautical engineering, safety management systems, or a related aviation discipline.
  • At least seven years of experience in air carrier maintenance, flight operations, or equivalent military service.
  • At least three years of audit experience in quality assurance, aircraft maintenance, engineering, or flight operations.
  • Experience interacting with the FAA and performing audits under FAA, IOSA, Department of Defense, or C.A.S.E. standards.
  • FAA A&P certification required; FAA ATP or DSP license may be required for applicable internal evaluation functions.
  • Strong planning, analytical, communication, document interpretation, and database skills, including Excel and Word.

  • Current passport or ability to obtain a passport.
  • Additional audit experience.
