What you will do

• Design a master Jira architecture covering project hierarchy, issue types, workflows, fields, and permissions.
• Audit existing projects and work with Product and R&D leads to document team practices.
• Standardize workflows, migrate teams to the common structure, and preserve appropriate team autonomy.
• Create reusable templates that enable rapid onboarding of new teams and projects.
• Build portfolio views and dashboards for cross-team leadership visibility.
• Automate triage, summaries, reporting, governance, and integrations with Confluence and ERP/PLM tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira administrator or Atlassian consultant.
• Experience leading a large Jira restructuring or migration across dozens of projects.
• Deep knowledge of Jira Cloud, including workflows, schemes, permissions, automation, JQL, and Plans.
• Understanding of R&D and product engineering processes across hardware and software development.
• Experience using AI tools and scripting, with Python and REST API knowledge beneficial for automation and reporting.
• Fluent English is required. A structured, pragmatic consulting approach and the ability to drive adoption are expected.
