AI Infrastructure Deployment Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, but must live in the United States and travel frequently to hirify.global properties across the U.S.

Salary: $200,000–$230,000 per year

hirify.global is a financial technology company building a direct-to-investor platform for real estate, private credit, venture capital, and real estate intelligence investments.

What you will do

• Visit properties and assess electrical readiness for modular GPU-compute deployments.
• Review one-line diagrams, service capacity, transformers, switchgear, feeders, backup power, grounding, and physical site constraints.
• Define utility upgrades, electrical scope, equipment requirements, permitting needs, risks, costs, and schedules.
• Manage electrical design, contractor bids, equipment submittals, construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Coordinate fiber routes, carrier availability, building entry, redundancy, and network turn-up requirements.
• Develop site-readiness standards, investment memos, as-builts, capacity records, commissioning documentation, and vendor performance data.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in electrical engineering, electrical construction, commissioning, critical facilities, power generation, industrial infrastructure, or data centers.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, equipment submittals, and construction documents.
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS/BESS, protection coordination, or power-quality issues.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, schedules, and technical risks in the field.
• Must live in the United States and be comfortable traveling frequently to properties across the U.S.
• Strong judgment, clear written communication, and ability to collaborate across real estate, utility, construction, and technology teams.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license or EIT credential.
• Data-center, utility-coordination, or electrical-contractor project-engineering experience.
