Incident Response Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote from Mexico; occasional travel and after-hours incident response may be required.

What you will do

• Investigate, triage, and respond to customer security incidents across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
• Lead containment, eradication, forensic analysis, and root cause investigation activities.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify adversary behavior that evaded existing detections.
• Document findings in clear, actionable reports for technical teams and stakeholders.
• Communicate incident updates to customers and internal teams.
• Partner with detection engineering and security operations teams to improve visibility.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in incident response, forensic analysis, and security operations.
• Strong written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS, and enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Availability for occasional on-call support and after-hours incident response.
• Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements.

Nice to have

• GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or other relevant industry certifications.
