Manager, Information Security Operations - Remote US (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $133,000–$190,000 annually, depending on region.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a global Security Operations team providing 24x7 monitoring and protection.
• Own alert monitoring, SIEM management, detection tuning, vulnerability management, and remediation tracking.
• Lead security investigations, incident response, threat hunting, and escalation during active incidents.
• Oversee DLP, internal penetration testing, security reviews, and evaluation of AI tools used across the business.
• Develop Security Operations policies, procedures, documentation, automation, and measurable service improvements.
• Partner with engineering, product, research, threat intelligence, IT, legal, finance, and other corporate functions while managing third-party MSSP and MDR providers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.
• 5–8 years of information security operations experience as an individual contributor.
• 2–5 years of experience managing and developing a Security Operations or SOC team across regions and time zones.
• Experience in SaaS, software development, technology, or fintech is required, along with experience handling AI security.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM management, vulnerability management, investigations, incident response, threat hunting, DLP, penetration testing, and security reviews.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, managing priorities, and communicating with stakeholders at different technical levels.

Nice to have

• Experience with industry-standard SIEM tools and cloud technologies.
• Experience at a security product company.
• Experience managing geographically distributed global teams.
• CISSP, CISM, SANS GPEN, CEH, or similar certification.
