Principal - Not-for-Profit Tax

Location: United States, remote

Base compensation: $250,567–$394,415 annually, with a midpoint of $322,491. Final compensation may vary based on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the not-for-profit tax team.
• Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit clients and address their specialized needs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and professional best practices.
• Mentor staff and support their professional development.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver comprehensive services.
• Monitor industry developments and identify opportunities for practice growth and improvement.

Requirements

• 15 years of technical experience in not-for-profit tax.
• CPA certification.
• Strong leadership, team management, and business development experience.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
