Threat Intelligence Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with three days onsite in Columbus, Ohio or Merrillville, Indiana; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship

Salary: $96,600–$144,900 annually, plus an 8% annual bonus

What you will do

• Collect and analyze open-source, proprietary, and partner intelligence on geopolitical risks, critical infrastructure, industry developments, threat actors, and physical security concerns.
• Produce tactical and strategic intelligence products, including threat assessments, executive briefings, risk forecasts, and real-time crisis updates.
• Support protective intelligence and travel security programs by monitoring executive travel and company events and preparing travel briefings.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Corporate Security, incident response, physical security, and risk management teams during investigations and security events.
• Develop reporting thresholds, templates, dashboards, investigative records, metrics, and KPIs for intelligence operations.
• Use intelligence platforms and OSINT capabilities to improve monitoring, analysis, information sharing, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of experience in threat intelligence, security operations, incident response, intelligence analysis, or a related field.
• At least four years of experience applying the intelligence lifecycle, structured analytic techniques, and OSINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, or GEOINT methodologies.
• At least four years of experience producing all-source intelligence reports, briefings, and assessments for technical and senior business audiences.
• Experience with intelligence and OSINT tools such as Dataminr, Google Threat Intelligence, Flashpoint, International SOS, Skopenow, and social media platforms, plus proficiency in Word, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, and AI models for data analytics.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or relevant industry certifications.
• Five or more years in a strategic threat intelligence role supporting senior leaders and developing intelligence processes and KPIs.
• Experience in the utility or energy industry.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies in security.
• Strong writing, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
