Middle Technical Level Designer (UE)

Location: Remote from all over the world; working hours are 10 AM to 7 PM (GMT+3), with possible adjustment.

Nekki is a game development studio with over 20 years of experience creating mobile, PC, and console games, including Shadow Fight, Vector, SPINE, and Fight Me.

What you will do

• Collaborate with level designers, game designers, and technical teams to conceptualize and implement blueprint systems for levels and encounters.
• Prepare levels through streaming setup, collider markup, and internal system markers.
• Support and improve level functionality during content development and integrate it into game locations.
• Participate in code reviews with technical teams during blueprint development.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Unreal Engine.
• Proficiency in visual scripting with Blueprints.
• Fluent Russian communication is required.
• Experience level: 1–3 years.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of Blueprints and C++.
• Experience with Sequencer and level streaming.
• Experience with Perforce or Git.
• Experience designing and implementing game levels.
• Understanding of basic game design principles.
