Level Designer (PC/Console, UE5) (6 months contract)

hirify.global is a game development studio with over 20 years of experience, creating games for mobile, PC, and consoles, including Shadow Fight, Vector, SPINE, and Fight Me.

What you will do

• Collaborate with level designers and the game design team to develop levels according to project requirements.
• Create location blockouts and own the level creation process through finalization.
• Handle technical level setup and scripting.
• Place objects in locations and coordinate the creation of scripts for interactive objects with technical designers and developers.
• Analyze level design in reference games and define requirements for level design tools.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5.
• Understanding of level design principles for action games, including cover placement and points of interest.
• Understanding of how game design and character abilities influence level design.
• A portfolio demonstrating level design work, including professional projects, custom game maps, or mods.
• Fluency in Russian is required.
