Product Architect, AI (Auth0)

Annual base salary: $226,000–$311,000 USD

What you will do

• Define Auth0’s strategy for securing AI agents and agentic applications.
• Shape identity architecture for agent authentication, delegated authority, resource access, trust, consent, and auditability.
• Design secure access to APIs, tools, data services, and MCP servers.
• Translate emerging technologies and standards such as MCP, agent-to-agent protocols, agentic commerce, and workload identity into product capabilities.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Privacy, Developer Relations, and Go-to-Market teams to validate and deliver platform capabilities.
• Build prototypes, reference implementations, technical demonstrations, and production-quality code using Node.js, React, Python, or Go.

Requirements

• Significant experience in product architecture, technical product management, software architecture, platform engineering, or a similar customer- and technology-facing leadership role.
• Experience building and shipping AI-powered applications, agentic systems, developer tools, or developer platforms.
• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, workload identity, token exchange, delegated authorization, API authorization, and related identity protocols.
• Strong understanding of secure access to APIs, tools, data, and services in distributed systems.
• Experience working with enterprise customers, developers, and partners, plus strong communication and technical writing or speaking skills.
• Strong software development skills in one or more of Node.js/TypeScript, React, Python, or Go.

Nice to have

• Participation in identity, security, AI, or agent standards organizations and open-source projects.
• Experience with developer-facing identity products, authorization policy systems, fine-grained authorization, consent, entitlements, or delegated access.
• Experience building MCP servers, AI agent platforms, AI-enabled workflows, or agent-to-agent systems.
• Experience with cloud security, zero trust, API gateways, workload identity, or secure software supply chains.
