TL;DR
SAP FI-CO Consultant (Ukrainian Localization): Designing, configuring, and testing SAP FI-CO finance solutions for a multinational implementation with an accent on Ukrainian tax vouchers, down payments, VAT, and statutory reporting. Focus on integrating FI with SD, MM, PS, and technical systems, resolving complex localization requirements, and supporting testing, migration, cutover, and hypercare.
Location: 100% remote; CEE time zones preferred

What you will do
- Run fit-to-standard and design workshops and document finance requirements for the Ukrainian entity.
- Design, configure, and test SAP FI-CO across General Ledger, closing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Treasury, and bank management.
- Implement Ukrainian localization, including tax voucher creation, registration, reporting, VAT integration, and legal e-document flows.
- Design down payment and advance-payment processes, including VAT treatment, advance tax invoices, and clearing against final invoices.
- Integrate FI with SD, MM/PTP, PS, and other modules; prepare functional specifications for ABAP and integration teams.
- Support testing, defect resolution, data migration, cutover, knowledge transfer, end-user documentation, and hypercare.
Requirements
- 6+ years of SAP FI-CO experience and at least two full-cycle implementations.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Treasury, and bank accounting.
- Hands-on Ukrainian localization experience covering both tax voucher and down payment processes, including VAT implications.
- Solid understanding of Ukrainian VAT, tax invoice legislation, statutory reporting, and local accounting requirements.
- Fluent English, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with business users, project managers, and consultants.
- Availability for the full six-month project duration.
Nice to have
- Ukrainian language skills.
- SAP S/4HANA and Fiori finance app experience.
- SAP Document and Reporting Compliance or other e-document and e-invoicing experience.
- Multinational or multi-country rollout experience and knowledge of global templates.
- SAP Activate, product costing, or profitability analysis experience.
