SAP ALM Consultant

Location: Hybrid from hirify.global's Rotterdam headquarters and home; 40% office, 40% home, and 20% flexible work. With manager approval, work abroad in approved countries for up to 3 weeks per year, with a maximum of 2 consecutive weeks.

Gross annual salary: €60,000–€81,000, including FlexBudget and an 8% holiday allowance.

What you will do

• Provide advanced functional support across SAP S/4HANA EAM, PS, DMS, SAP Service and Asset Manager, and SAP Field Service Management.
• Diagnose complex incidents, coordinate internal teams and external suppliers, and monitor system stability and performance.
• Coordinate software releases from planning and testing through validation, go-live, and post-release monitoring.
• Review user stories, define test plans, execute or coordinate functional testing, and act as the quality gate for production changes.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and drive structural improvements, functional design decisions, and process optimisation.
• Translate platform complexity for business stakeholders, IT colleagues, management, developers, and suppliers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of functional support experience in SAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM, PS, DMS, SAP Service and Asset Manager, and/or SAP Field Service Management.
• Experience with release coordination, functional testing, incident management, root-cause analysis, and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of SAP ALM, release and change management, quality assurance, compliance, authorisation frameworks, and SAP integration patterns.
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch are required.
• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
