Director, Field Reimbursement Capabilities - West

Location: US - Texas - Houston. Remote work from home with regular field travel within the assigned organization; travel up to 50% by automobile or plane is required.

Salary: $212,732.90–$287,815.10 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the Respiratory Field Reimbursement organization through Senior Managers who manage Field Reimbursement Managers.
• Set the capability vision, operating model, priorities, performance expectations, and regional execution approach.
• Coach leaders, develop talent, plan staffing, and build high-performing field reimbursement teams.
• Use market intelligence, analytics, CRM reporting, and performance data to identify access barriers and guide action.
• Oversee reimbursement expertise across Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill models, including payer policy, coding, coverage, payment, distribution, and affordability.
• Prepare the organization for new indications, launches, geographic expansion, evolving access models, and operational changes.

Requirements

• Must be able to work from the United States and travel up to 50%.
• Doctorate degree; or a Master's degree with 5 years, Bachelor's degree with 7 years, Associate's degree with 12 years, or high school diploma/GED with 14 years of customer service and/or leadership experience.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in field leadership, market access, reimbursement, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or a related area.
• Experience leading field-based teams and directly managing people leaders or managers.
• Expertise in Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill reimbursement, including dual-benefit product models.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical reasoning, executive communication, compliance, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, healthcare, public health, pharmacy, or a related field.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed reimbursement organizations or scaling field capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Medicare Parts B and D, Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, Commercial payer environments, and specialty products.
• Experience with organizational design, performance frameworks, CRM adoption, capacity management, budgets, and healthcare market changes.
