Product Manager (GIS/Spatial Data)

What you will do

• Own technical product management for the Properties Data portfolio, including Address Fabric, Buildings, Parcels, and Property Graph products.
• Prioritize the backlog across multiple engineering teams and support roadmap planning, feature delivery, defect resolution, and technical debt decisions.
• Translate customer feedback and support escalations into backlog items with acceptance criteria, sizing context, root-cause analysis, and validated fixes.
• Act as the technical bridge between Product, Engineering, QA, Support, customers, and partners through reviews, solution definition sessions, and stakeholder alignment.
• Improve data coverage, accuracy, documentation, and country-specific output; evaluate new data sources and conduct competitive analysis.
• Support product communications, release notes, internal demos, and stakeholder sessions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in GIS, spatial data engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Proficiency with COTS GIS and spatial software such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, FME, or MapInfo.
• Fluency with spatial data types, formats, and standards, including WKT, GeoJSON, shapefiles, geodatabases, coordinate reference systems, and projections.
• Ability to read software architectures, REST APIs, and engineering design documents to validate product behavior and investigate customer issues.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and support teams while managing competing priorities.
• Proficiency with AI tools and familiarity with prompt engineering are required for data QA, analysis, engineering processes, and evaluation of AI-assisted features.

Nice to have

• Experience with address, parcel, or property data workflows and postal address standards.
• Experience with hirify.global products such as Geocoding, Spectrum, Trillium, or Data Integrity Suite.
• Exposure to data licensing, vendor evaluation, competitive analysis, agile or Scrum methodologies, and backlog tools.
• Understanding of hyperscaler integrations or API-first product architectures.
