Technical Product Owner – AI Agent

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Occasional remote work is available across Poland and internationally for up to 24 domestic and 20 international days per year, subject to internal policy.

What you will do

• Own the product direction and prioritize the backlog for an internal AI agent supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Translate engineer and stakeholder needs into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementable requirements.
• Evaluate architecture, integrations, technical dependencies, risks, security, reliability, cost, and agent-action safety.
• Support discovery, refinement, planning, implementation, validation, and feature acceptance with engineering and architecture teams.
• Measure adoption, usefulness, and business impact, using data and user feedback to guide priorities.
• Drive AI adoption across engineering teams, mentor technical colleagues, and align product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software product development experience, including hands-on software engineering and several years as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or Tech Lead.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of architecture, APIs, integrations, non-functional requirements, and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with engineering tooling including source control, CI/CD, work-item tracking, code review, testing, and release management.
• Working knowledge of AI/LLM products, agent capabilities, tool calling, prompt behavior, and current model limitations.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex, plus excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with open-source agents such as OpenCode, Hermes, OpenClaw, or similar tools.
• Experience with Agile development and distributed international teams.
• Knowledge of agent memory, context management, autonomy, adoption metrics, and impact measurement.
