Transition Process Consultant (ITIL 4)

Location: Hampshire, United Kingdom; onsite 5 days per week. Right to work in the United Kingdom and eligibility to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements are required. Applicable residency and, where necessary, nationality requirements may apply.

What you will do

• Design, document, and implement end-to-end service transition processes aligned with ITIL 4.
• Manage transitions from strategy and build through service validation, operational acceptance testing, and handover to business-as-usual operations.
• Define integration workflows and dependencies across hybrid infrastructure, enterprise platforms, secure networking, and service desks.
• Establish governance gates, risk registers, and compliance checkpoints for secure-environment accreditation.
• Align internal programme governance with incumbent supplier exit processes and DXC delivery methods.

Requirements

• Experience applying service transition, change enablement, service validation, and release management in large-scale enterprise transformations.
• Experience designing supplier-to-supplier transition governance, multi-supplier operating models, and complex service separation frameworks.
• Advanced process modelling using BPMN, including standard operating procedures and RACI matrices for secure operations.
• Understanding of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, CMDB discovery, and ticketing-process handover.
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks in secure, defence, and government-adjacent environments.
• Must be able to work onsite in Hampshire five days per week and meet UK work authorization and applicable security requirements.
