Full Stack Web Developer (Aerospace)

Location: Full-time, on-site in Delfgauw, the Netherlands. The role includes a weekly evening meeting with colleagues in New Zealand during Dutch winter time.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain internal web applications end to end, including backend services, APIs, and user interfaces.
• Own specific applications and ensure their quality, reliability, and continued development.
• Gather requirements from engineers and other users and translate them into working tools, feature sets, and roadmaps.
• Design interfaces and workflows that make complex engineering data and processes easier to use.
• Contribute to additional tools and projects across the software team.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional web development experience.
• Professional experience with both backend and frontend development, with strong backend skills and an understanding of UI and UX.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node, Python, React, CSS, GitLab, and network data infrastructure.
• Ability to gather requirements from non-web specialists and turn them into features and roadmaps.
• Ability to work on-site in Delfgauw and attend an evening meeting with the New Zealand team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, InfluxDB, or ClickHouse.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience with testing infrastructure, hardware, or Production/Manufacturing integration.
