What you will do

• Complete a master's thesis project with the hirify.global Kernel team alongside another student.
• Research transaction management, concurrency, and system performance in graph database systems.
• Investigate topics such as distributed systems, fault tolerance, performance tuning, and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with hirify.global engineering colleagues and receive continuous technical guidance.

Requirements

• Be at the end of a master's degree and complete a master's thesis project.
• Interest in graph technology and database kernel development.
• Interest or experience in concurrency, parallelism, distributed systems, performance analysis, or related systems topics.
• Be able to work in Malmö, Sweden.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of language design and type systems.
• Experience with cloud architecture, service design, site reliability engineering, or cloud automation.
• Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, graph algorithms, or machine learning.
