Specialist - Software Engineering (Java)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex backend functionality in Java.
• Improve the scalability, usability, reliability, and resilience of products across the full software lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Investigate production issues and support reliable operation of business-critical platforms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, architects, and client representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience developing backend applications in Java.
• Ability to design and maintain reliable, scalable, and testable software throughout the product lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership-driven, structured, collaborative approach.
• Excellent written and spoken English required for collaboration in global, cross-functional environments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of capital markets, clearing, settlement, trading, or financial instruments.
• Experience with complex, distributed, and transaction-intensive systems.
• Familiarity with build, delivery, monitoring, and continuous delivery practices.
