What you will do

• Define architectural direction across software supporting multiple vehicle platforms, products, OEM programmes, and Robotaxi applications.
• Create clear software boundaries, interfaces, and abstractions that enable independent team delivery without unnecessary fragmentation.
• Lead major architectural changes spanning multiple engineering organisations.
• Improve software development, integration, testing, and deployment across vehicle platforms and production environments.
• Work across onboard software, AI, simulation, training and inference, product engineering, Robotaxi systems, and development platforms.
• Act as a technical decision-maker on complex architecture choices and help establish engineering practices for large-scale, safety-critical software.

Requirements

• Principal, Distinguished, or equivalent senior individual-contributor experience shaping large and complex software architectures.
• Demonstrated success leading significant technical or architectural change across multiple teams or engineering organisations.
• Strong systems-thinking skills, with the ability to understand broad technical landscapes and investigate details deeply.
• Experience building or evolving reliable software platforms operating at significant scale and complexity.
• Ability to make difficult technical trade-offs and influence senior engineers and engineering leaders through technical credibility.
• Strong bias toward execution, software quality, and turning technical direction into engineering change.

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or automotive systems.
• Passion for autonomy and willingness to learn an unfamiliar technical domain.
