Senior SW Engineer (Equity Post-Trade)

Location: Solna, Sweden; flexible hybrid work model in Sweden.

What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design through production.
• Design, build, and implement solutions using C#, .NET, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Modernize legacy, database-heavy systems and refactor monolithic applications into modular architectures.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for the equity post-trade platform.
• Deliver production-grade code focused on performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Collaborate effectively in a distributed setup across locations.

Requirements

• Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience modernizing legacy systems and refactoring monolithic applications.
• Solid understanding of system design and scalable, resilient solutions.
• Hands-on engineering experience with strong ownership and accountability.
• Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model in Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience in capital markets or equity post-trade systems.
• Understanding of equity trading workflows.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
• Background in product-driven engineering environments.
