Backend Developer (Game Development)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; office-first with a hybrid solution possible. Eligibility to work in Sweden is required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize backend solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft Orleans.
• Build and optimize cloud-based backend components with Azure services.
• Design and maintain efficient SQL Server database structures and optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional developers and engineers to define requirements and deliver projects.
• Build, monitor, and maintain integrations with third-party platforms.

Requirements

• Proven backend development experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Orleans or another actor-model framework for distributed and scalable systems.
• Strong experience designing and optimizing database structures, preferably with SQL Server.
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
• Understanding of backend architectural styles and best practices.
• Eligibility to work in Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Frontend development experience.
