TL;DR
Pre-Sales Solutions Architect – AI Agent & Workload Security (AI security/Kubernetes): Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, solution architecture, and PoCs for Lynx, a platform securing autonomous AI agents and modern workloads, with an accent on Kubernetes, cloud-native security, and Zero Trust architectures. Focus on translating AI runtime patterns into governance policies, building reusable demo and PoC assets, influencing the product roadmap, and advising enterprise accounts across Europe.
Location: Hybrid, based out of the Cork city office in Cork, Ireland; approximately 25% travel across Europe.

What you will do
- Lead technical discovery, live demonstrations, solution architecture, and proof-of-concept executions for Lynx with enterprise prospects.
- Help customers understand how they build, deploy, and connect AI agents, then translate runtime patterns into security and governance policies.
- Design and maintain Lynx demo environments, PoC playbooks, and architecture blueprints.
- Capture customer requirements and market feedback to influence the Lynx product roadmap.
- Represent through technical webinars, workshops, meetups, conferences, and published insights.
- Support Calico enterprise accounts through architecture reviews, platform adoption, RFP/RFI responses, and expansion opportunities into Lynx.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of customer-facing technical experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or technical consulting, or hands-on platform, DevOps, or cloud security engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized architectures, including cluster setup and workload troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of application and cloud security, Zero Trust, network policies, identity-based security, and cloud access controls.
- Practical knowledge of JWT, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and mTLS, plus hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to translate complex AI runtime mechanics and security architectures for engineers and C-level executives.
- Sales skills including active listening, MEDDPICC alignment, and translating technical features into business value.
Nice to have
- Experience building or securing AI/LLM applications or agents with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, or MCP servers.
- Familiarity with SPIFFE/SPIRE, Istio, Envoy, Calico, Cilium, OpenShift, or eBPF.
- Knowledge of the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, or NIST AI RMF.
- Proficiency in a second European language.
