TL;DR
Manager Integrated Product Support (IPS/ILS): Leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for integrated logistics support and system-safety activities across the full product lifecycle with an accent on supportability, reliability, maintainability, safety, and lifecycle-cost optimization. Focus on defining IPS/ILS strategies, managing safety risks and requirements, and coordinating complex bids, projects, budgets, and stakeholder priorities in a defense environment.

Location: Sonderborg, Denmark. Candidates must be able to obtain security clearance from the Danish Defence Intelligence Service and have resided within NATO or the EU for the last 7 years.

What you will do

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a multidisciplinary IPS/ILS and system-safety team of approximately 20 professionals.
  • Define and implement IPS/ILS and system-safety strategies, plans, processes, and governance across multiple projects.
  • Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, priorities, quality, and deliverables.
  • Embed supportability, availability, reliability, maintainability, safety, and lifecycle-cost requirements into system design.
  • Oversee logistics support analysis, RAMT activities, maintenance planning, provisioning, technical publications, product-support data, and lifecycle-cost analysis.
  • Support bids and proposals by defining support and safety concepts, work packages, estimates, and delivery plans.

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree in engineering, logistics, systems engineering, safety engineering, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical specialists or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of systems engineering, configuration management, project delivery, IPS/ILS, and system-safety principles.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, competing priorities, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Practical understanding of system safety and reliability engineering in complex hardware/software systems, including hazard analysis, FMECA, and safety-case development.
  • Professional proficiency in English and eligibility for Danish security clearance are required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of ASD S-Series specifications, including SX000i, S1000D, S2000M, and S3000L.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-882E and related system-safety practices.
