TL;DR
Global Distribution Circularity & Compliance Lead (Sustainability/Logistics): Driving global waste compliance, reporting, scrap governance, and circularity programmes across the LEGO Global Supply Chain & Operations organisation with an accent on regulatory readiness, data management, and operational improvement. Focus on mapping distribution-centre practices, reducing scrap and destruction of unsold goods, aligning regional processes, and advancing zero-waste and near-zero-scrap objectives.
Location: Billund, Denmark. Hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office. No relocation assistance is offered.

What you will do
- Map current waste-management practices across global distribution centres and align regional processes with circularity and climate ambitions.
- Drive global waste compliance, reporting, scrap governance, training, accountability, and site onboarding.
- Lead annual global reporting on unsold-goods destruction and support consistent EU compliance practices.
- Ensure compliance across electronics, textiles, apparel, and emerging regulated waste streams.
- Use data, root-cause analysis, and recovery initiatives to prioritise improvements and reduce scrap.
- Monitor emerging regulations and advance zero-waste-to-incineration and Near-Zero Scrap 2030 objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, distribution, or a related field.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, reporting requirements, or process-improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, data-management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across a global organisation.
- Proactive, self-directed approach with strong ownership, accountability, and continuous-improvement mindset.
