What you will do

• Develop new banking relationships with small business prospects and service an existing portfolio of loan and deposit clients.
• Work with branch partners and referral sources, including accountants and attorneys, to generate business and cross-sell banking products.
• Evaluate credit information and loan requests, recommend appropriate loan structures, and manage lending risk.
• Negotiate with underwriters and clients to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
• Manage approximately 15–40 relationship-managed clients and a loan portfolio of $7.5M–$20M.
• Participate in sales initiatives, networking activities, and civic and cultural programs while achieving revenue, loan production, deposit, and product sales goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or at least 4 years of related sales or banking experience in lieu of a degree, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong credit skills for evaluating loan requests and managing risk.
• Knowledge of business banking products, including cash management, merchant services, and trade services.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, sales, and client relationship management skills.
• Proficiency with personal computers and department software.
