TL;DR
Firmware and Development Tools Intern (GPU) (Python/C, CI/CD): Building firmware development tools and platforms for GPU microcontrollers with an accent on full-stack applications, build automation, and testing. Focus on developing Python tools, automated workflows, firmware test cases, and low-level debugging across simulators and embedded systems.
Location: On-site in Shanghai or Beijing, China

What you will do
- Contribute to firmware build, release, and continuous integration platforms, including web frontends, backend services, and databases.
- Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows connecting code builds, testing, and releases.
- Build Python tools and scripts for firmware development, debugging, testing, and log analysis.
- Configure simulators and virtual platforms for firmware development and testing.
- Develop automated firmware test cases, analyze results, and investigate issues with firmware engineers.
- Gradually contribute to microcontroller firmware development and debugging on GPU boards.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor's or master's program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Full-stack web development skills covering frontend interfaces, backend services, and databases.
- Proficiency in Python and C, with the ability to develop tools, scripts, test cases, or basic system functionality.
- Familiarity with Git and Linux development environments.
- Basic understanding of GPU or embedded-system architecture and hardware-software interactions.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation in English and participate in English-language meetings.
Nice to have
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, DevOps tools, or automation platforms.
- Familiarity with CMake, software builds, dependency management, and release processes.
- Experience with C++, embedded software, microcontroller firmware, RTOS concepts, simulators, or virtual platforms.
- Experience with automated testing, log analysis, or hardware-software debugging.
- Sustained interest in GPUs, embedded systems, and firmware development.
