Member of Technical Staff I (UEFI BIOS)

Location: Kunshan, China. On-site customer support and business travel are required. Right to work in China is required.

What you will do

• Define, develop, and integrate BIOS features for Lenovo desktop and workstation projects.
• Maintain functional modules and support regular releases.
• Port and adapt modules for mainstream Intel and AMD client platforms.
• Analyze and resolve BIOS bugs, compatibility issues, and daily development problems.
• Provide on-site technical support and customer communication during feature delivery and project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately three years of UEFI BIOS development experience.
• Practical knowledge of UEFI BIOS architecture, AMI, or EDKII.
• Proficiency in C and familiarity with BIOS debugging tools and methods.
• Knowledge of x86 architecture and protocols including PCIe, USB, and ACPI, plus experience with Intel or AMD desktop and mobile chipsets.
• Good English reading and writing skills, willingness to travel, and ability to provide on-site client support in China.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Lenovo desktop/workstation or similar OEM client projects.
• Experience with ARM or RISC-V platforms.
• Experience with Phytium, Loongson, Kunpeng, or other domestic platforms.
