Member of Technical Staff II (UEFI BIOS)

Location: Kunshan, China. The role requires on-site customer support and business travel, and candidates must have the right to work in China.

What you will do

• Define, architect, and develop customized BIOS features for CSP server platforms, including Alibaba environments.
• Port, adapt, and maintain BIOS modules across Intel, AMD, and domestic server platforms.
• Independently analyze and resolve complex system-level BIOS issues, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility problems.
• Deliver new features and project milestones while providing high-level technical support at customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of UEFI BIOS development experience, with hands-on CSP or Tier-1 OEM server project experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of UEFI BIOS principles, AMI or EDKII architecture, and server platform boot flows.
• Proficiency in C, system-level debugging, performance tuning, and x86 server architecture.
• Knowledge of PCIe, USB, ACPI, SMBIOS, Redfish, and IPMI, with Intel or AMD server chipset experience or domestic platform experience.
• Good English reading and writing skills, strong problem-solving ability, and willingness to travel for business and on-site client support.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with ARM or RISC-V platform development.
• Experience with Phytium, Kunpeng, Hygon, Alibaba, Tencent, or Baidu server projects.
