TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Backend): Collaborating within a team to build and support a particular part of hirify.global's banking platform, focusing on customer outcomes and data-informed decisions. Focus on distributed systems and writing resilient software, using technologies like Go, MySQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes.

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid model: 3 days a week in the office.

What you will do

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including product managers, marketers, designers, and analysts to build and support a specific part of hirify.global.
• Build and support a particular part of hirify.global such as Core Banking, Business Banking, Wealth, Borrowing, Growth, Payments, Platform, Fincrime, Security & Expansion.
• Work with technologies like Go, MySQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, gRPC, and AWS.

Requirements

• Strong experience working on the backend of a technology product.
• Product mindset with a focus on customer outcomes and data-informed decisions.
• Comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity.
• Interested in distributed systems and writing resilient software.
• Experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C, Scala, etc.).
