What you will do

• Manage, evaluate, and develop a team of purchasing staff.
• Maintain consistency in purchasing methodologies, procedures, and policies across buyers.
• Plan purchasing activities, cost estimates, and schedules for integration with existing plant operations.
• Monitor purchasing trends and identify opportunities for bulk purchases.
• Implement process improvements to minimize transactional costs associated with material delivery to the plant.
• Collaborate with suppliers, external customers, and internal stakeholders across organizational levels.

Requirements

• University degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members.
• Ability to hold self and others accountable for goals and standards.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Strong ethical values, integrity, interpersonal skills, and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
