Product Support Engineer (LC/MS)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Onsite role with approximately 20–25% domestic and international travel.

Salary: $163,008–$254,700 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide tier 3 technical support for hirify.global Lab Advisor, Lab Assist, QTOF Diagnostics, and TCD Software.
• Develop and implement software features, defect resolutions, and product or process documentation.
• Design, review, debug, validate, and test diagnostic software elements.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, technical support, QA, manufacturing, product development, and external customers.
• Help define product requirements, supportability goals, reliability targets, cost parameters, and release schedules.
• Deliver technical training to field service and remote service engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with analytical scientific instruments and LC and/or MS.
• Software engineering experience designing and supporting complex software systems.
• Strong knowledge of C and/or C++, real-time operating systems, and concurrent programming.
• Fluency in Python or other scripting languages, plus knowledge of web server technology and REST APIs.
