What you will do

• Execute derivative accounting and controllership processes within the Investment Controllership team.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, including collaboration with Investment Management and Operations.
• Prepare and review internal and external audit requests.
• Participate in system improvements, system conversions, subledger implementations, and other key projects.
• Identify accounting and process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and control effectiveness.
• Analyze new investments and accounting guidance to support investment accounting and reporting across the company and its subsidiaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of related experience in investment or fund accounting, or financial reporting, with increasing responsibility.
• At least 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and large financial datasets.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic corporate environment and manage changing priorities.
• Experience with financial services or insurance investment GAAP and statutory accounting, including Schedule DB, is preferred.

Nice to have

• 6 or more years of related work experience.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent designation.
• Experience with investment software such as Aladdin.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, or Alteryx.
• Experience with system conversion or subledger implementation.
