Senior Delivery Consultant, Migrations-Networking, AWS Professional Services (AWS)

Location: Madrid, Spain. The position may require up to 50% travel to customer sites.

What you will do

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Assess existing infrastructure and develop migration strategies for data centres and on-premises environments.
• Integrate AWS services with enterprise networks and infrastructure, including hybrid connectivity.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and risk mitigation throughout delivery.
• Lead customer and stakeholder discussions on trade-offs, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Mentor colleagues, deliver training, and create reusable technical artefacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure implementation experience across networking, compute, storage, and virtualization.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise and hybrid networks, including routing, BGP, segmentation, firewalls, load balancing, and DNS.
• Experience with AWS and on-premises integration, highly available infrastructure, and large-scale cloud migrations with cutover and rollback planning.
• Infrastructure automation and scripting experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or PowerShell.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS networking and infrastructure services, multi-account landing zones, and AWS Control Tower.
• Linux and Windows administration in cloud or virtualized environments.
• Infrastructure monitoring, observability, security, and compliance experience in regulated industries.
• Experience using AI-powered and agentic tools to accelerate delivery.
• AWS certifications and financial services consulting or large-scale migration programme experience.
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish.
