Domain Consultant (Cortex)

Location: Remote, supporting customers in Boston, Massachusetts; Hartford, Connecticut; Jersey City, New Jersey; or New York City, New York, United States. Travel may be required for in-person customer meetings.

Salary: $206,400–$283,800 per year, with potential commission, restricted stock units, and bonus.

What you will do

• Collaborate with account teams to design customer solutions for the Cortex portfolio.
• Present security operations solutions to practitioners and senior customer leadership.
• Lead customer demonstrations, proof-of-value projects, and technical validation activities.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs as the primary technical contact for Cortex.
• Architect solutions and document high-level designs and key use cases.
• Share customer feedback with product management, technical marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in security operations or pre-sales/sales engineering.
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, SOC, XDR, or EDR environments.
• Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes and advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.
• Experience working with customers and demonstrating problem-solving skills.
• Proficient English.
• Work authorization sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• IBM QRadar design, deployment, or pre-sales experience.
• Python or other scripting experience.
