Senior Principal Research Analyst, Advanced Analytics

Location: Hybrid role with defined in-person presence requirements in the United States, including Rockville, MD and other listed hirify.global locations.

Salary: $131,200–$238,300 annually for work performed in Rockville, MD. Ranges vary by listed U.S. location.

What you will do

• Plan, scope, and execute analytics projects from definition through delivery.
• Promote advanced analytics and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
• Lead business engagement activities such as gathering use cases, collecting feedback, and delivering training.
• Contribute to hirify.global’s cross-market surveillance program and analytics capabilities for regulatory operations.
• Define data collection and transformation approaches, incorporate third-party data, and support analytics infrastructure.
• Design and automate predictive pipelines and provide analytics-based research for business requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, or a similar quantitative discipline, plus six or more years of related experience in data science, engineering, or software development, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, R, SQL, or Scala.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex and prolonged projects.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with defined in-person presence requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning, data mining, and natural language processing.
• Familiarity with big data processing and platforms.
• Experience mentoring research analysts and applying advanced analytics methodologies.
