Senior Designer

Location: Cape Town, South Africa; hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Manage design projects from initial brief and concept development through final delivery.
• Work with another Senior Designer to manage design and branding requirements across the business.
• Create brochures, illustrations, layouts, infographics, presentations, proposals, social media collateral, and other brand materials.
• Develop visual content for web, social media, email marketing, print, digital, motion, interactive content, and web design.
• Clarify briefs, define project scope, agree delivery timelines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Act as a brand guardian and ensure consistent application of hirify.global’s visual identity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Four to six years of professional experience in an in-house design or communications team, digital agency, or creative agency.
• Experience in editorial design, art direction, print production, and creative work across print and digital channels.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
• Strong conceptual thinking, attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Permission to work in South Africa is required by the start of employment.

Nice to have

• Experience in a B2B environment.
• Experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, content management systems, or marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot.
• Illustration, animation, video editing, or photography skills.
