Research SW Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Own the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical specifications through architecture, implementation, and delivery.
• Build threat intelligence, malware hunting, and attack analysis platforms supporting security operations and the MDR service.
• Develop tools for threat investigation, security content creation, and detection signature development.
• Design workflows and infrastructure that bring security research outputs into customer-facing products.
• Build scalable data-processing and analysis solutions, automate protocol analysis, and integrate internal and external services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of server-side development with Python.
• 3+ years of web development using modern frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, system architecture, code design, and end-to-end development.
• Experience translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and technical solutions.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, and Redis.
• Fluent English, strong communication and collaboration skills, ownership, initiative, and organizational ability; BSc in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with React.
• Experience with big-data technologies such as Apache Spark.
• Background in security or networking.
