Senior Internal Auditor (Fintech)

Salary: $84,900–$108,200–$131,600 annually

What you will do

• Perform risk assessments and plan internal audits based on organizational objectives, processes, controls, and external regulations.
• Evaluate IT infrastructure, data flows, information systems controls, operating procedures, and automated and manual processes.
• Develop audit scopes, objectives, programs, testing procedures, process narratives, flow charts, and risk-control matrices.
• Identify non-compliance, control deficiencies, process weaknesses, inefficiencies, and technical issues.
• Communicate audit progress and findings, prepare and review audit reports, and present results to management.
• Partner with business owners on remediation plans, monitor agreed actions, and escalate unresolved findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, business, or a related field.
• Five years of related auditing experience in public accounting or internal audit.
• Currently hold or actively pursue a professional audit certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA; certification is required as a condition of continued employment.
• Experience interpreting regulations related to information systems, platforms, and IT operating processes.
• Experience with payment systems and credit/debit card financial services is preferred.
• Employment is remote within the USA, and visa sponsorship is not available.
