TL;DR
Senior Tech Lead .NET (Backend Architecture): Guiding the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of complex back-end solutions using .NET, C#, ADO.NET, SQL Server, SOAP, and REST with an accent on API governance, system integration, and reliability. Focus on designing distributed systems, optimizing database performance, leading CI/CD improvements, and mentoring engineers across a multicultural team.

What you will do
- Define and evolve the technical direction, architecture, and design patterns for back-end services using C#, .NET, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
- Govern SOAP and REST API implementation, versioning, security, and standardization.
- Establish testing, monitoring, reliability, scalability, and root-cause analysis practices.
- Lead code reviews, mentor senior and junior engineers, and promote continuous engineering improvement.
- Oversee integration between legacy and modern systems and optimize CI/CD workflows and automated pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and teams across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA to create scalable technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Principal Engineer in a production environment.
- Deep hands-on expertise with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Strong experience with ADO.NET, SQL Server, database design, optimization, and performance tuning at scale.
- Experience designing and maintaining SOAP and RESTful services, including XML serialization and deserialization.
- Mastery of software design patterns, clean architecture, and distributed system design.
- Advanced or fluent English is required; all communication is conducted in English.
Nice to have
- Cloud platform expertise, preferably Azure.
- Experience with specification-driven development and agentic software development approaches.
- Experience leading teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
