Associate Commissions Business Analyst (Insurtech)

What you will do

• Support onboarding projects with Operations, business units, and shared services teams.
• Collect, analyze, and upload carrier and business unit commission files.
• Develop expertise in the hirify.globalCONNECT Commissions platform and document upstream and downstream impacts.
• Create carrier mapping guides and identify contracting errors, exceptions, and incorrect calculations.
• Work with Business Analysts, Leads, Managers, and contracting teams to define action plans and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience in business analytics, system processes, payment structures, or workflows.
• Analytical, critical-thinking, logical-reasoning, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to calculate amounts, validate commissions, and identify variances.
• Ability to communicate professionally through written materials, presentations, and reports.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level experience in insurance operations, bookkeeping, accounting transactions, or financial services is preferred.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or mathematics.
• Experience with accounts payable, policy administration, claims, commission calculations, or reconciliation.
