Quality and Configuration Manager (Defence)

What you will do

• Establish and continuously develop the hirify.global Netherlands quality management system in alignment with ISO 9001 and AQAP requirements.
• Implement quality frameworks, processes, procedures, governance structures, and management system certifications.
• Act as Project Quality Manager and develop and maintain project Quality Management Plans.
• Plan and conduct project and supplier audits, manage non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain Configuration Management Plans, configuration baselines, status accounting, and configuration audits.
• Support Configuration Control Board activities, document release processes, supplier coordination, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of quality management systems in defence projects, including ISO 9001, EN 9100, and AQAP 2110–2210.
• Experience establishing or developing a QMS within a small or growing organisation and managing configuration in complex product delivery environments.
• Experience with audits, non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and relevant configuration management standards such as EIA-649 or DEF STAN 05-57.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant quality or configuration management experience, preferably in defence or aerospace.
• Business fluency in Dutch and English and eligibility to obtain and maintain Dutch security clearance are mandatory.

Nice to have

• Lead Internal Auditor certification in ISO 9001 or EN 9100.
• Configuration management certification such as CMPIC or equivalent.
