Senior QA Manual

What you will do

• Perform manual functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and risk-based testing of web applications.
• Define test strategy and regression scope for product releases.
• Create and maintain test plans, checklists, test cases, scenarios, bug reports, and testing reports.
• Review technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria before development, identifying gaps, contradictions, and risks.
• Record defects with priorities and reproduction steps and provide release recommendations based on coverage, residual risks, and blockers.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product managers to improve product quality.

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Senior Manual QA Engineer testing web products with multiple modules or teams.
• Experience owning regression scope and release quality rather than only executing prepared checklists.
• Experience with test management systems such as TestLink, TestRail, or Qase, and bug tracking systems such as Jira or YouTrack.
• Confident API testing with Postman or an equivalent tool, web development tools such as Chrome DevTools, and confident SQL with basic NoSQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or TeamCity, Git, software development processes, and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to prioritize testing across competing releases, clearly communicate release risks, and adapt scope when requirements or dates change.
