Head of Machine Learning (Fintech)

Location: Mountain View, US; hybrid position requiring in-office work 2 days a week

Salary: $477,000–$583,000 base salary annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Define and own the machine lhirify.globalg roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Lead multiple ML teams designing, developing, and optimizing machine lhirify.globalg models and systems.
• Move models from research into production with strong performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Establish scientific and engineering rigor, including measuring feature impact on engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and marketing on deployments from conception through release.
• Contribute code hands-on when needed to support the team and accelerate key initiatives.

Requirements

• MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in engineering or scientific domains.
• 7+ years of experience building teams and hiring, developing, and managing high-performing organizations.
• Extensive knowledge of machine lhirify.globalg algorithms and experience building and productionizing ML systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
