Senior ServiceNow Technical Lead (Platform Architecture and Development)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Define and maintain scalable, maintainable ServiceNow platform architecture.
• Lead the design, configuration, and development of ServiceNow solutions aligned with best practices.
• Review technical designs, configurations, and custom developments for upgrade readiness and platform stability.
• Design complex workflows, Service Catalog items, integrations, and automations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Oversee platform performance, security, reliability, governance, and roadmap planning while mentoring developers and administrators.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow design, configuration, and scripting.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring teams.
• Knowledge of platform governance, upgrade management, and integrations.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of CMDB and platform security best practices.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CIS or CSA.
• Experience with platform performance optimization and complex workflows.
